Jason Momoa just showed us his new Aquaman suit for the DCEU sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2022) and fans are loving it!
In a new Instagram post, Jason Momoa, star of DC’s Aquaman (2018) and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2022), revealed a shot of the new Aquaman outfit he’ll be donning in December.
Jason Momoa captioned the shot he posted on Instagram:
Second round. New suit. More action.
It was gold and green in the previous installment, but now Momoa’s clothing is significantly darker, maybe indicating a darker view for the movie as a whole.
No description has been released, but Aquaman 2 is expected to tackle the Lost Kingdom’s origins and how it influences Aquaman now, as well as the rivalry between Black Manta and Aquaman.

Earlier this year, Jason Momoa hinted that he would be altering his hair for the part he is portraying in the upcoming film. “This is the last day of the brown,” he wrote on Instagram.
The actor added this was going to be his new look and that blonde is supposed to be more fun. He said he was not sure about it, but he’d see how it goes.
Amber Heard (Mera), Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta), and Randall Park (Dr. Stephen Shin) will all reprise their roles in the sequel. Dolph Lundgren (King Nereus) and Nicole Kidman (Atlanna) will also mark their returns in the forthcoming feature.
The first Aquaman movie was a massive hit, becoming the highest-grossing DC Comics adaptation of all time in terms of box office revenue.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to hit theatres on 16th December 2022.
