Kaley Cuoco Discusses 'The Flight Attendant' Season 2

‘The Big Bang Theory’ star Kaley Cuoco opens up about what fans can expect from ‘The Flight Attendant’ season 2.

Following the conclusion of The Big Bang Theory with a pretty satisfying ending for fans, Kaley Cuoco‘s (Penny) career hasn’t declined in the slightest.

As a matter of fact, her Golden Globe-nominated new comedy-drama, The Flight Attendant, got renewed for season 2 almost instantly. This begs one particular question.

What can fans expect from the forthcoming second season? Well, Cuoco – who portrays the extremely stressed Cassie Bowden – has suggested any sort of character development for Cassie won’t happen overnight.

Following Cassie’s conscious decision to stop drinking at the close of season one, the 35-year-old admitted her character’s obsession with alcohol will keep influencing the plot.

As per Collider, Kaley Cuoco explained:

She thinks this is going to be quick and easy, and ‘I’m nailing this’! And she’s going to learn really fast that this is a life-long issue that will not be cured for her overnight.

The actress continued,

She always had the excuse of alcohol. So no matter what situation she gets in, it’s like, ‘I was drunk! I’m fun Cass!’ And she kind of gets away with it.

Implying that Cassie’s troubles are far from over, Cuoco believes her character will still “f**k up”. She said:

So, now what is her excuse for being shit? What is her excuse for f**king up?

The release date for The Flight Attendant season 2 on HBO Max is yet to be confirmed.
