They say ‘Diamonds are forever’, but this doesn’t seem to be the case among Sam Smith fans after the singer teases his new single ‘Diamonds’.
Yes, the 28 years old English singer Sam Smith is up with a new track; if you have been following Smith, you might well know about the jolly news. Yes, we are talking about the new song from Smith which goes by ‘Diamond’. The song is still left to be released however, after a surprise announcement by the singer, fans don’t seem to wait for it to be released.
And for those who are unfamiliar with the news regarding the new release, Sam teased about his upcoming new song taking to his official Instagram post on September 14, Monday. We’ve presented you with the snippet of the post below,

The I’m Not the Only One hitmaker uploaded series of snaps with the cover of new single with a caption, which reads “DIAMONDS New single coming this Friday, September 18 x.” Not much information about the new drop was mentioned. Nevertheless, after the short announcement Smith has already garnered 485k likes within a day.
Adding more ‘ice to the cake’, the Too Good at Goodbyes hitmaker glimpsed us with some lyrics part in the song which reads, “You dream of glitter and gold, my heart’s already been sold.”

Besides that Sam also shared a link to pre-save/pre-add features on Spotify and Apple Music which you can access from U Music. And for the non-user of both apps there is also option for free trial sign up. So if you can’t hold the release till Friday you can pre order now and be the first on one to listen the song and learn its lyrics.

A good audience reaction and excitement seems to be articulated from the post uploaded on Tuesday, Sep, 15 and we definitely are waiting for the song to be released. And with series of story, the one previewed him on a Uber cab wearing a mask, where he tells ‘always a trip hearing your song play on cab’.
Coming back to the song, “Diamonds” will be Smith’s second original solo single in 2020 after touchy song “To Die For” released in February. The song received good response with 38 million views just from YouTube amidst radio play, stream and other music platform data.

However, these are not the song the artist has released this year; Smith had a collaboration with many big faces like Demi Lovato, Tiwa Savage, and Burna Boy.
