The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan wants to portray WWE legend, Ric Flair, in his biopic.
Stan, who is one of the leading stars in the latest Marvel series on Disney+, has opened up about his interest in playing WWE legend Ric Flair in a biopic, opposite I, Tonya (2017) co-star Paul Walter Hauser as Arn Anderson.
Watch: Ric Flair's wildest outbursts
We got to do that Ric Flair/Anderson biopic. [Hauser's] so funny. I mean, he's such a big wrestling fan and I was a big wrestling fan too growing up. Like, I loved WWF and stuff.
And we both have a kip-up. So, maybe Ric Flair. I'll do it in a second if they let me. I mean, pretty soon, I'll be eligible, I guess.
If Stan is cast as Flair, he will only be the second MCU star to play a WWE Hall of Famer, following in the footsteps of Chris Hemsworth, who is currently working out (more than his usual self) to portray Hulk Hogan.
Earlier this year, the Thor actor said:
This movie is going to be a really fun project. As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor.
Hemsworth added there's also the accent, the physical attributes, and the demeanor. He'll even have to go down the rabbit hole of the wrestling universe, which he's quite looking forward to. In addition, he's going to be blonde and balding as well.
