'The Flash' Starring Ezra Miller Officially Enters Production

The upcoming solo movie revolving around Barry Allen aka The Flash starring Ezra Miller officially begins production.

According to the latest reports, Warner Bros.’ The Flash has already started filming.

As per Deadline, The Flash is currently in development in London with Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti sitting on the director’s chairs. Muschietti previously hinted at a major project in the works on social media but offered no clues as to what it could be.

The Flash solo movie was formally revealed in 2013 with a 2018 worldwide release and Ezra Miller expected to reprise his role as the DC Extended Universe‘s popular speedster.

After the release of Joss Whedon‘s Justice League in 2017, however, the future of The Flash film became unclear.

In 2020, it was announced that, despite seemingly retiring from the role, Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in the movie, alongside Michael Keaton, whose involvement is currently unconfirmed.

Rumors based on the claims that Rick Famuyiwa was expected to direct before leaving the project indicate Ray Fisher would also reprise his role as Cyborg.

It should be mentioned, however, that Fisher has openly stated he will no longer be working on Warner Bros. projects under DC Films Boss Walter Hamada.

The Flash is slated to hit theatres on 4th November 2022.
