Anthony Mackie delights Marvel fans by suggesting he would love to be a part of a new Disney+ show featuring Sam Wilson/Falcon and Natasha Romanov/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).
MCU star Anthony Mackie expressed his feelings on a potential spinoff show, starring Sam Wilson/Falcon and Natasha Romanov/Black Widow – played by the talented Scarlett Johansson – on mini Avengers adventures.
Mackie proposed the idea of an unlikely spinoff in a recent interview about his forthcoming Disney+ show, telling Deadline that Sam is in huge debt to Natasha for counting on him to deliver in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2013) when she and Cap/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) required assistance.

Mackie said,
Sam Wilson is, for all intents and purposes, just a regular guy who won the lottery because Black Widow knocked on his door and needed a place to hide.
The actor then joked,
And he fell in love and was hoping to have a spin-off with Black Widow.
This is not the first time Mackie has talked about the duo. Back in 2017, the actor discussed the chemistry between Falcon and Black Widow during his appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Mackie said,
It’s interesting, you know, there’s this rapport in my character study that I came up with. Because every scene, she’s trying to introduce Cap to a young lady. And when I meet her… Our first scene we shot together, she was like ‘Hey, Falcon.’
The 42-year-old continued,
And I went, ‘Oh, oh, hey Widow.’ And so then, I was like, ‘I get it. Black Widow and Falcon are dating. That’s why she’s trying to give Cap to her friends.’ So if you watch the movie, and watch it real close, you’ll see the love affair that we have for each other. It was intense.
While Johansson is reprising her role as the titular character in Black Widow (2021) that hits theatres on 7th May, fans may recollect the fact that this popular Avenger sacrificed her life in a bid to defeat Thanos (Josh Brolin) on Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Therefore, a possible spinoff featuring the femme fatale superhero and Falcon will have to transpire before the events of the fourth Avengers film.
Meanwhile, Marvel fans need not wait for a spin-off show as we’re soon to witness the eagerly anticipated bromance between Sam and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), better known as The Winter Soldier.
As per IMDb, the plot for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) reads,
Following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities — and their patience.
Helmed by Kari Skogland, the latest Disney+ miniseries premieres on 19th March 2021.
