Jeffrey Dean Morgan Reveals His Son is Set to Feature on 'The Walking Dead'

The Walking Dead’s Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan says his son is set to feature in season 11, albeit in a minor role.

Season 11 of The Walking Dead will include Jeffrey Dean Morgan‘s s real-life son as one of the zombies.

Jeffrey, who plays the post-apocalyptic drama’s baddie-turned-decent-dude Negan, confirmed the reports himself during his appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The actor shared,

Gus Morgan, my 11-year-old son, is going to be the featured walker in Episode 5. He’s been getting his COVID test so he can be on set and all that. He is so pumped it’s ridiculous.

Tickled by a fond recollection, the 54-year-old added:

I just remembered today that last time we did zombie make-up – he’s gonna be a walker and have all the stuff done, and it’s kind of a cool little role he’s doing in the show – but the last time we did any zombie make-up on him, he looked at his reflection in the mirror and passed out.

Jeffrey continued,

That was a few years ago so I’m hoping he doesn’t pass out this time around, because the make-up is gonna be extensive and cool. But he’s so excited.

Imagine Gus biting his father’s character. That would be an incredible twist!

Sadly, we’ll need to wait a little longer to see young Gus’ appearance because season 11 isn’t set to premiere until 22nd August.
