If you’re still not aware, the engaged duo officially broke up last week. Jennifer‘s “friend” talked to People shedding light on the situation and providing an explanation for their breakup.

Jennifer’s friend stated,
She insisted on it. There are too many issues that are unresolved.
Why did JLo throw in the towel? She couldn’t “trust” him, according to her friend.
Amid the cheating speculations, another source added,
Whether or not he has cheated doesn’t matter. She won’t tolerate the fear of it in the air between them.
The friend continued,
She has been pretty miserable and didn’t think it was in her best interests to stay with Alex.
Meanwhile, the source added the former pair will still make an effort to be friends, and there is mutual respect. They are, however, going down separate roads in their personal life.
Likewise, the friend reckons Jennifer has been in similar positions in the past. She isn’t the one to sit around and whine. Her children bring her the most joy, and she is doing really well.
