Bryan Cranston: “He (Aaron Paul) is a really good person.”
It’s been over seven years since the final episode of Breaking Bad aired on AMC, but star Bryan Cranston‘s strong friendship with his former cast member, Aaron Paul, has lived through.
Cranston, who is currently impressing the audience on Showtime’s limited drama, Your Honor, said:
For some reason, Aaron and I really connected.
The Emmy-winning actor added:
The storylines gave us opportunities to bond. And I was attracted to his character as a human being, which is really sound and remarkable.
He’s a really good person. It’s not imperative that you form a relationship with your costars, but it makes things easier and better, like your in-laws!
The duo – who admitted they’d love to feature on the spin-off Better Call Saul – even founded “real, artisanal Mezcal made by hand in Mexico” called Dos Hombres Mezcal last year.
Speaking of their company which they dreamed of in a sushi bar in New York, the Walter White star said:
We’re so excited about it. We are learning so much. We have artisanal mezcal, old fashioned processing with no modern technology. The ingredients are smoked agave and water. It’s beautiful.”
And the popular AMC drama did more for Cranston than help him bump into a lifelong buddy.
It cracked open opportunity for me. It put me on the radar of established directors and producers who wanted to work with me. The road map of my career was clarified. [The show] was my great good fortune.
The next episode of Your Honor starring Bryan Cranston premieres on Showtime on 3rd January 2021.
