The well-renowned American singer Demi Lovato has revealed that their pronouns will be changed to gender-neutral they/them.
Demi Lovato announced on Wednesday that she is nonbinary and is switching her pronouns, telling fans that she made the conscious decision after doing “self-reflective work.”
Lovato announced on Twitter,
Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all — I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary.
In an accompanying clip, they said they’ll formally be updating their pronouns to they/them going forward.

They chose gender-neutral pronouns because they better reflect the dynamism they feel in their gender identity, according to Lovato.
