Jimmy Kimmel gives us an update on his ill son.

Endorsing the role of health care for those with pre-existing disabilities, Jimmy Kimmel explored a tough moment for his family and urged fans to “vote with your heart” in the forthcoming election.

Kimmel released a video on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” produced by his partner, Molly McNearney, of their boy improving from open-heart surgery merely days after he took his first breath.

Kimmel encouraged fans to understand health insurance and the value of the Affordable Care Act while they go on to vote on 3rd November.

The talk show host said,

I want to bring us back to focus on something we can’t afford to forget, and that is health care. The vast majority of this country believes that health insurance should cover Americans with preexisting conditions.

In the video, McNearney added:

Mom’s don’t forget. Please vote.

The footage shows Billy, who is now stable, dressed up in outfits, and having fun with his big sister Jane, 6.

We are raising him to fight for less fortunate kids. Americans take care of one another. Vote with your heart.

Kimmel emotionally announced Billy’s heart condition in May 2017 during a monologue on his program and praised diligent nurses, physicians, workers, friends, and family members.
