Kathy Hilton is preparing for her daughter Paris Hilton‘s wedding. Speaking in a new interview, the 62-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum discussed the forthcoming wedding of the 40-year-old DJ and businesswoman to fiance Carter Reum.

Kathy shared with People,
I’m going to handle the wedding. I’m going to sit down and talk with her. And it depends on what month we do it. But it will be beautiful and classic.
While people believe Paris is planning a spectacular, extravagant wedding, Kathy believes it will be much more low-key.

Talking of Paris, Kathy said:
She’s not the fancy person people might think. The truth is, she’d be happy with white teddy bears and unicorns hanging from the ceiling. She’s very easy breezy.
Carter, who is also 40, got down on his knee and popped the question with a Jean Dousset ring on a private island surrounded by her family, on the eve of Valentine’s Day, after they had been dating for almost a year.
Paris told People,
This past year with COVID has accelerated so many things. As someone who traveled constantly, I had a chance to stay home and reevaluate what was important to me. My relationship and the time I spent with Carter was a gift. I’m excited for our next chapter.
Carter added he got the rare chance to get familiar with the real Paris on a regular basis, just the two of them over the last 15 months, and he couldn’t be more thrilled and grateful to have her as his future spouse.
He believes she sparkles with her compassion, work ethic, sincerity, and commitment to changing the world for the better, and as a future mother and wife, he expects her to continue to do the same.
