Mike Wheeler Star Finn Wolfhard Shares Frustrating Season 4 Update for Stranger Things

Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler in the Netflix sci-fi horror series, shares a disappointing season 4 update.

Stranger Things viewers better not count on any new episodes until at least the next year. Because the show won’t be returning till 2022.

This frustrating update was recently provided by Mike Wheeler actor Finn Wolfhard, who disclosed the news during a Fanmio video call. He said,

Season 4? It should be out sometime next year, hopefully.

With the persistent COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc all over the world, the emergence of the retro Netflix science-fiction show was always going to be delayed – fingers crossed it arrives in the initial phases of next year.

Earlier, Dustin Henderson‘s Gaten Matarazzo reflected on the show’s “mature” progression in the forthcoming season.

The fan-favorite star said,

When it comes to the tone of the season, it’s definitely, I think the tone is definitely matured for sure, and I think they [creators Matt and Ross Duffer] do that on purpose because I think they want their show to mature with their kids.

He added,

As we are growing older as people, we have to grow older as characters. They’re confronted by this issue, but they embrace it, and they use it to their advantage. And they don’t freak out when we get taller or when our voices drop or anything like that.

The actor continued,

They use it and they use it as ammunition for their writing. It’s incredible what they can do.

You can check out the first three seasons of Stranger Things, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
