According to a source familiar with the investigation Rapper Slim 400 was shot dead on December 8 in an attack in Inglewood California. Inglewood patrol officers were in the general area patrolling when the possible sound of gunfire was detected, a representative for The Independent said. “Officers went to the location where they thought the gunshots were from and found Mr. Cohran down on the ground with a gunshot wound.”

Mr. Cohran received immediate medical treatment and was then transferred by Los Angeles County Fire Department officials to a local hospital for emergency traumatic care, where he was later pronounced dead by medical staff.

This was not the first time when the 33-year-old was shot, the rapper has been the victim of the gunshot many times. Slim 400 barely averted death two years ago in the summer of 2019 when the rapper was shot nine times while visiting his family in Compton.

While visiting his family in Compton, the shooting took place about three months after rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in Crenshaw, Los Angeles. The rapper said he was ambushed and revealed that after a shower of drive-by bullets, one of his family members risked their lives to save him by bringing him indoors to safety.
