In 2019, Summit1g girlfriend, Lilchiipmunk, caused a stir on social media following the 33-year-old streamer had to apologize for his girlfriend’s tweets. The streamer used his Twitch platform to apologize for comments made by his girl.
The context was, Lilchiipmunk made a harsh comment on one of the fellow Twitch streamers, Sweet Anita. During the time, Anita, who was new to the platform, received a major backlash following she used the “N-Word” on her stream.

Later, Anita addressed the whole thing and blamed her “Tourette Syndrome,” claiming she used the word as a “TICK.”
But, Summitg1’s girlfriend, Lilchiipmunk, was not happy with the whole thing; she expressed the platform is “promoting hatred by letting Anita stream.”
Lilchiipmunk, however, had to apologize for her tweet, and even Summit1g joined to say sorry to Anita. Summit1g on his stream said,
“I just wanted to give an apology to Sweet Anita. I hope you’re doing okay through all the bullshit. You’re killing it on Twitch, keep it up and keep trucking through.”
Summit1g further added,
“Now that streaming’s in the mainstream, you’re under the microscope, and a lot of people are under the microscope more than they think. I’ve learned that many times and those moments help mold me as a person and get my maturity levels in check.”
