Whoopi Goldberg, who took a week off to deal with sciatica, is back on The View with some health news of her own and a brand new walker.
Whoopi Goldberg returned to The View on 29th June, accompanied by her new best buddy.
The 65-year-old singer and morning talk show presenter took a break from the show due to health difficulties and resurfaced using a walker to aid in relieving her sciatica.

She shared,
Yes, it’s me, I’m back. I was out because I was dealing with something called sciatica, which is basically a bulging disc in your back and it impacts the sciatic nerve, which sends pain down your leg.
She then revealed that she has been using a walker to aid her to get around and held up the equipment for her fellow co-hosts to observe.

Whoopi continued,
I have a walker, which kind of freaks me out I didn’t know that I needed it.
She went on to say after taking her first step with the walker, she knew this is her new best mate.
She’s just gliding along, Goldberg jokingly stated. That’s exactly what happened to her, and it’s said to appear from nothing.
On social sites, Whoopi’s followers sent their support and positive thoughts to the EGOT victor.

Whoopi was off The View for numerous weeks in early 2019 due to double pneumonia and sepsis. Thankfully, despite being informed she was on the verge of death, she recovered quickly.
