Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk Reveals Challenging Transformation for New Film 'Nobody'

Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk knew his new film ‘Nobody’ was something that would really challenge him and push him to the limits.

Bob Odenkirk is popularly recognized as the smarmy con-artist attorney Saul Goodman in AMC’s Breaking Bad and its spin-off show Better Call Saul, but in his upcoming movie Nobody, he’s remarkably transitioning into John Wick, pretty much.

In a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the production, the actor reveals he was eager to push himself physically for this part, even if it involved getting pounded and hurt along the way, and he’s been preparing for it since 2017!

The actor remarked,

I started as a comedy writer in this business, so no exercise at all. I knew that this was something that would really challenge me, personally. To me, the fun of doing this is learning a new set of skills. I wanted to commit and go into unapologetic rage.

As per IMDb, the plot for Nobody reads:

A bystander who intervenes to help a woman being harassed by a group of men becomes the target of a vengeful drug lord.

Odenkirk portrays an unspectacular, fairly benign father in the picture. A “Nobody,” per se. When robbers break into his home, however, something inside him is triggered, and his vicious nature is exposed.

There seems to be a dark secret in his life that will be unveiled, but most significantly, there will be a lot of smashing.

The other notable cast includes Connie Nielsen, RZA, Aleksei Serebryakov, Christopher Lloyd, Gage Munroe, and Paisley Cadorath.

Nobody is expected to hit theatres on 26th March 2021.
