Kim Kardashian opens up about the challenges she’s been facing over the course of the past 12 months.

Making an appearance on this week’s episode of Good Morning Vogue, she opened up about how tough the past year’s been, citing her extremely high profile split from billionaire husband Kanye West in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When asked about life resuming normalcy following the pandemic, Kardashian stated:
I think this year has been challenging for so many people but I also think that this year was a huge cleanse and just a huge opportunity for people to really be grateful for the simple things and that is a huge — I think awakening that some people had.
Kim – who previously felt camera shy in a bikini post – added,
I always try to look at things in a positive way. Even though it has been such a challenging year, it’s a time to regenerate, get creative, spend so much time with family and just this time I’ve been able to spend with my children has been priceless. That part has been so beautiful.
Kim Kardashian made no mention of her divorce from West, nor was she questioned about it. In February, the 40-year-old Kim filed for divorce from Kanye, 43.
Following a turbulent romantic life, the couple married in 2014 and share four kids: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, as well as sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 1.
It was recently reported that despite their co-parenting predicament, the duo is no longer on speaking terms, with Kardashian communicating via West’s security staff.
