Letitia Wright is Injuried on the Set of 'Black Panther 2'

Letitia Wright aka Shuri from Black Panther sustained an injury on the set of the sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and was subsequently taken to hospital.

One of the stars of the upcoming Marvel sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), Letitia Wright, was brought to the hospital. She plays the popular character of Shuri in the franchise.

Marvel issued a statement in response to the incident.

A Marvel spokesperson told Deadline,

Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon.

Black Panther 2 is set to be released on 8th July 2022.

Daniel Kaluuya (W’Kabi), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), Winston Duke (M’Baku), Angela Bassett (Ramonda), Michaela Coel, and others also appear in the film.

Meanwhile, another Marvel superhero has recently been disclosed to be a part of the project!

Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, revealed that actress Dominique Thorne has signed on for the forthcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Dominique has already been cast in the titular role in the upcoming Disney+ standalone show Ironheart as Riri Williams.
