Now that Young Luke has made an appearance in The Mandalorian, there is renewed optimism that this ultimate fan choice will be realized.
While featuring on Good Morning America, Sebastian was quizzed about the casting aspirations, and the hosts mentioned the fact that even Mark Hamill tended to embrace the idea in a funny tweet.
Stan insisted,
Well, if Mark Hamill calls me personally and says that he feels inclined to share this role with me, then I’ll believe it.
The actor admitted,
Until then, I don’t believe any of it!
Stan has a lot on his plate right now, having just starred in his latest Disney+ show, in which he joins up with Captain America co-stars Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson) and Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter).
