'The Mountain' Hathor Bjornsson Looks Menacing As He Gears Up for Boxing Debut

The Mountain from HBO’s Game of Thrones, Hathor Bjornsson, looks intimidating ahead of his boxing debut in the squared circle.

Game of Thrones star Hathor Bjornsson is looking ripped prior to his boxing match against Eddie Hall. In 2020, The Mountain made the decision to switch his attention to boxing.

Bjornsson and Hall have enjoyed a growing rivalry over the course of several years. What perfect place to put aside their differences than with a round of boxing? A sport with clearly established rules, which is unlikely to bring as many damages as a lifting competition.

In any case, The Mountain also shared a video of his warm-up fight this year. In the clip, he appears to be in good shape and has kept his insane physique.

The giant of a man, on the other hand, is still getting used to the way you have to maneuver in this sport. In Strongman competitions, he will pretty much dominate due to his work ethic and fearsome body. When the gloves are put on, things may be a little different.

Hall isn’t concerned just to be clear. In the meantime, The Mountain was chastised by the prominent lifter on his personal YouTube channel. It’s fair to assume they’re not fond of each other.

Hall said,

Anyone with any boxing tenacity about them will know that was the biggest load of s**t that has probably ever happened in boxing.

The strongman added,

No-one can say he can [box] because he didn’t land a punch. I want to say a big thank you to Thor for doing that match and putting it out on the internet. It has literally given me the best advantage that I have ever had.

After capturing the Arnold Strongman Classic a couple of years ago, the Game of Thrones star had some things to say about breaking the world record for the deadlift.

Hathor told his followers,

I have no words. What an amazing day, one I will remember for the rest of my life. I said I was coming for it and once I set my mind on something I’m a dog with a bone. Want to give a huge shoutout to my family, friends, coaches, fans, sponsors, and haters, all of whom helped this lift be possible.

Needless to say, it’ll be fun to see how The Mountain fares in the boxing ring.
