Andrew Lincoln, best known for the portrayal of Rick Grimes on AMC’s The Walking Dead is returning to TV in a new Netflix Anthology series.
Following his departure from the popular zombie apocalyptic show The Walking Dead in 2018, Andrew Lincoln will return to television.
The English actor, best remembered for the popular card scene in Love Actually (2003), has been cast in Guillermo del Toro‘s new Netflix horror anthology drama.

The Guillermo del Toro‘s show, titled Cabinet of Curiosities, features eight unsettling stories that challenge the fan’s perception of terror. The episodes span from interpretations of H.P. Lovecraft to the original pieces, including a couple of tales by del Toro.
With a remarkable cast of actors, screenwriters, and filmmakers, the Academy-award-winning director will bring these scary tales to life.
Along with Andrew Lincoln, the cast also includes F. Murray Abraham from The Grand Budapest Hotel and Tim Blake Nelson from Watchmen.
In addition, the rest of the cast includes Essie Davis, Luke Roberts, Glynn Turman, Ben Barnes, Elpidia Carrillo, Hannah Galway, Crispin Glover, Demetrius Grosse, David Hewlett, Sebastian Roché, and Peter Weller.
According to Deadline, the cast of directors includes some well-known personalities from the horror genre.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities is expected to premiere in 2022.
