Thor: Love and Thunder Will Reportedly Feel Like Avengers 5

Thor: Love and Thunder will have an Avengers: 5 feel as per the latest reports.

Thor: Love and Thunder, set to be helmed by director Taika Waititi, is setting up pretty nicely.

Slated to start filming in Australia at the beginning of next year, the fourth Thor film features quite a package thanks to Chris Pratt reprising his role as Star-Lord while Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster, who will be wielding Thor’s hammer no less.

And now, a Marvel insider reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter the project would carry an “Avengers 5 feel.”

It remains to be seen if more members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will feature or make a cameo in the fourth installment of Thor, but if we’ve learned anything about Marvel Cinematic Universe over the last decade, anything can happen.

Back in March, it was revealed The Dark Knight star Christian Bale would portray the main villain on Love and Thunder, and this might be linked to the future Avengers 5 film; could his character be on the same level of threat as Thanos?

Previously, Waititi stated the movie is going to be “very romantic.”

Speaking with BBC, the Oscar-winning filmmaker said:

I think it’s going to be really good. It is so insane and it’s also very romantic. I’m into romances now. I want to make romance. I want to make something that I’ve never done or never cared for. I would like to attack something like that.

Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to hit theatres on 11th February 2020.
