Tom Hardy is Starring in New Netflix Film 'Havoc'

Tom Hardy is set to star in a new Netflix movie by Gangs of London creator titled Havoc.

Tom Hardy will feature in an upcoming Netflix movie from the co-creator of Gangs of London, Gareth Evans.

Called Havoc, Hardy’s role is of a detective who is on a mission to rescue the son of a politician while unfolding a chain of corruption in his neighborhood, as per the streaming giants who made the announcement on Twitter.

The movie is one of the multiple projects which will be produced/directed by Evans in the foreseeable future.

Evans, who is known for directing action thrillers like The Raid: Redemption (2011) and The Raid 2 (2014), will serve as the writer and director for Havoc while Hardy is among one of the producers.

At the tail end of last year, the actor got cast alongside Bill Skarsgard in a Vietnam war film The Things They Carried which begins filming in early 2021.

The movie’s brilliant lineup of the cast includes household names such as Tye Sheridan, Pete Davidson, Stephen James, Ashton Sanders, Martin Sensmeier, Moises Arias, and Angus Cloud.

The film will be directed by Rupert Sanders and is taken from Tim O’Brien‘s book of the same name, which focuses on the troop of brave, young soldiers and their encounters in the Vietnam War.

The release dates for Havoc and The Things They Carried, both are yet to be confirmed.
