Joe Giudice’s meeting with her ex-wife Teresa and her new boyfriend Luis Ruelas was pretty “awkward” for him.
Another instance of the actual reality being completely different from Instagram.
Joe Giudice‘s dinner night with RHONJ star Teresa Giudice and her new partner, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, failed to be as smooth as it looked in their Instagram picture.
Joe, 48, told Us Weekly:
You can all imagine how I felt when they walked in the room. It was awkward to see my ex after a lifetime together with someone else.
A clip uploaded online displayed the friendly ex-couple dining at Graycliff Restaurant in the Bahamas with their four children — 20-year-old Gia, 16-year-old Gabriella, 15-year-old Milania, and 11-year-old Audriana. Meanwhile, Ruelas, 46, sat beside Teresa.
Joe told the publication,
Teresa and I decided to be honest and remain friends with one another for the girls. Parenting should always be about giving your children the best outcomes for every situation. I believe we deserve to all be happy and our children will thank us for it.
He added,
I am genuinely happy for both Teresa and Luis and wish them the best!
The entrepreneur, who was expelled to Italy in 2019 after spending time in jail for fraud, has also started a new romance.

Joe shared his first Instagram upload alongside his girlfriend, lawyer Daniela Fittipaldi, in December. Teresa, 48, seemed to be happy for her former husband’s new relationship, as she commented red heart emojis under the picture.
The ex-duo divorced last September ending their marital relationship of over two decades.
