And while we’re aware that the studio goes to ridiculous extremes to make sure they look every bit as amazing as one can expect by, say, hiring experts who keep a close eye on their diet and fitness schedule, there is still a certain level of emotional strength that is needed to get the job done at the end of the day.
Otherwise, they might very well end up hurting the project and their futures, which have not been uncommon.
In addition, we also know that Hemsworth, in fact, takes his fitness levels quite seriously, and now, in an interview with Men’s Health, the actor shed light on his experience and discussed what inspires him to keep working, stating:
I speak to plenty of people who are like, ‘Oh, I just hate training’. I’m like, ‘What do you do?’ ‘Oh, I just run. But I just don’t like running’. I’m like, ‘Don’t run then!’ I don’t run. I do a lot of different things.
The actor continued,
You’ve got to be an explorer in the world of fitness and exercise and constantly be on the lookout for something fresh.
The Avengers: Infinity War star also noted that fitness is a way of life for him, as opposed to something he needs to do for a career, adding:
My body shuts down when I stop working out. I just don’t feel good. I like it for a couple of days, then everything just starts to hurt. I get achy and there’s inflammation, my back’s stiff. I’m just well aware that in order for me to live healthier and happier, I’ve got to keep moving.
It looks pretty likely that Odinson will go on to lose all the weight he had added during his adventures in the final movie in the Infinity Saga when Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) hits our screens. Having said this, we reckon every fan will agree that Fat Thor will always carry a spot in our hearts.
