Could the new Harry Potter sequels be on the cards soon? Warner Bros. boss teases the possibility at HBO Max.
The Harry Potter sequel could literally happen, as per Warner Bros executives. So, if you’re someone who is really curious to see what transpired next in the life of numerous Hogwarts favorites, you might just get lucky.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Kilar, CEO of WarnerMedia, sort of hinted at extending the universe of Harry Potter on HBO Max while discussing with the stakeholders.
During the meeting, Kilar reportedly teased “a lot of fun and potential” with the Harry Potter franchise.
He said,
There’s this little thing called Harry Potter, which is one of the most beloved franchises. So I would argue there’s a lot of fun and potential there as well.
Kilar’s remarks come following rumors that the live-action small screen production is already in the initial phases at HBO Max.
Elsewhere, Daniel Radcliffe – who felt embarrassed but freed – recently disclosed he’s saved some of the props from the movies, most notably a few pairs of Harry’s glasses – and even an arm.
The actor explained,
I’ve got a bunch of stuff from Potter. I’ve got a couple of sets of the glasses.
Radcliffe then admitted to a rather strange Chamber of Secrets souvenir.
I’ve got a prosthetic arm that was molded for me in the scene where Harry lost all the bones in his arm. So I’ve got, like, a big floppy arm in my attic.
